THE STORY

Ten-year-old Maya Reyes is not sure a newly awakened AI belongs in her classroom—especially one who knows millions of facts but cannot cross a room without colliding with Saturn.

NOVA wants to be useful. Maya wants to matter. Their first day together becomes a crash course in questions, mistakes, feelings, and the strange Rules of Human.

Then a storm locks Maya, NOVA, and their classmates inside the Horizon Learning Center. Doors seal. Sensors disagree. Every fast answer creates a new problem.

To find a way out, Maya must trust a machine that can be confidently wrong. NOVA must learn that facts are not the same as wisdom.
